Quissua Brings Piwowarczyk His Own Reflection
Emilio Quissua is 8-0. Damian Piwowarczyk has already lost four times. Naturally, Piwowarczyk is the -130 favorite.
Welcome to Dana White’s Contender Series, where an immaculate record occasionally has the discourtesy to meet context.
Piwowarczyk has spent much of his career in KSW. Quissua arrives unbeaten, with five finishes, and has stopped his last two opponents. Tuesday asks whether perfection survives its first serious examination.
Piwowarczyk Recognized Something Uncomfortably Familiar
Piwowarczyk has studied Quissua and sees a fighter remarkably similar to himself. Both work heavily from the left side, attack from a distance, and accumulate damage rather than relying exclusively on one enormous punch. Quissua adds kicks, front kicks, and flying knees to that equation.
Piwowarczyk’s response is intriguing because it is not rigid. He expects the opening exchanges to tell him whether clinching and takedowns belong in the fight. His preparation included extensive sparring with high-level Polish light heavyweights, including Jan Błachowicz and Iwo Baraniewski, whose length and movement helped replicate Quissua’s physical problems.

Eight Wins Have Hidden One Question
Quissua’s record contains no professional defeats and no submission wins. Piwowarczyk’s 11 victories contain six knockouts and four submissions. His current three-fight winning streak includes two strike stoppages and a guillotine. Quissua, meanwhile, has five knockout/TKO wins and three decisions.
That gives the underdog a pristine record. It gives Piwowarczyk more ways to make it considerably less pristine.

Minus 130 Buys the Scars
Bookmaker Sportsbook opening line: Piwowarczyk at -130 and Quissua at +100.
Piwowarczyk has explicitly said he is not coming to protect a decision. He intends to hunt a knockout or submission. That matters on DWCS, but the better betting argument is simpler.
Quissua’s 8-0 says nobody has solved him yet. Piwowarczyk’s 11-4 says several people have solved him, and he kept coming back with answers. For once, the blemishes are rather attractive.
Prediction: Damian Piwowarczyk by submission.
Betting Lean: Damian Piwowarczyk -130.
