Igor Cavalcanti’s Reach Keeps Ravello Guessing
Igor Cavalcanti has never won a professional fight by decision. That tells Oscar Ravello almost everything about the danger and very little about where it will come from.
Cavalcanti is 13-2 with 10 knockouts and three submissions. Ravello is 13-3-1 with seven knockouts, three submissions and three decisions. The larger physical distinction is harder to ignore: Cavalcanti stands 5-foot-11 with a listed 79.5-inch reach, while Ravello is 5-foot-10 and substantially shorter in reach.
Bookmaker Sportsbook’s opening line lists Cavalcanti at -271 and Ravello at +223. The favorite deserves the shorter price, but the technical question is whether Cavalcanti’s aggression gives Ravello enough opportunities to turn exchanges into grappling sequences.
Igor Cavalcanti Makes Distance Feel Temporary
Cavalcanti’s offense centers on shortening the fight. His last two wins ended by first-round strikes, including a front kick and punches against Emanuel Lopez and a late first-round TKO of Marek Jakimowicz. He carries power forward rather than waiting patiently for opponents to volunteer mistakes.
The 79.5-inch reach amplifies that pressure. Igor Cavalcanti can start exchanges from farther away, then continue with combinations as Ravello retreats toward the fence.
That matters because Ravello’s most obvious striking vulnerability has already been punished. Fabricio Martins stopped him with a head kick in 2025. Cavalcanti does not require the same opening, but Ravello’s defensive reactions become increasingly important when attacks arrive from outside his preferred range.

Ravello Has More Than One Escape
Treating Ravello as merely the fighter trying to survive Cavalcanti’s hands would miss half the matchup.
Seven of Ravello’s 13 wins have come by knockout, but his most recent victory over Fernando Gomes ended with an arm-triangle choke. That gives him a credible alternative when prolonged striking exchanges become uncomfortable.
Cavalcanti has also been submitted before. Kamil Kraska finished him with an arm-triangle in the second round last November.
The intriguing part is what happens during transitions. Cavalcanti’s forward momentum creates finishing opportunities, but committed combinations can also narrow the space between the fighters enough for Ravello to initiate clinches or force grappling exchanges.

Fifteen Minutes Favors the Stranger Outcome
Igor Cavalcanti has considerably less experience winning minutes because he has never needed a judges’ decision to win professionally.
Ravello has three decision victories and a draw. If the Peruvian repeatedly interrupts Cavalcanti’s preferred striking rhythm, the favorite enters less familiar territory.
The problem is getting there. Cavalcanti has the reach, a more consistent finishing record, and several ways to punish Ravello as he tries to close the distance.
Fight prediction: Igor Cavalcanti by second-round TKO.
Betting Analysis
The price removes much of the appeal from simply backing Cavalcanti, but it accurately reflects the physical and finishing advantages. Ravello’s grappling provides the upset mechanism; Cavalcanti’s reach and pressure make it hard to access.

Igor Cavalcanti -271.
