Batbayar Has Never Needed Scorecards
Andre Lima had never lost a professional MMA fight until Kevin Borjas beat him in June. Now the UFC has given him an opponent who has never won a fight by decision.
Bookmaker Sportsbook lists Lima at -265, Batbayar +218, with under 2.5 rounds at -160. My technical prediction is Lima by decision, but the betting lean is Batbayar +218.
Batbayar enters his UFC debut 10-1 with five knockouts and five submissions. Six victories ended in the opening round. His entire three-fight Road to UFC run occupied just 12 minutes and 15 seconds.
What Happens After Batbayar Finds You?
His Road to UFC final offered the clearest example. Yin Shuai became entangled near the fence with one hand touching the canvas. Batbayar recognized that Yin was not legally grounded under the current rules and immediately drove a knee into his head before finishing with punches at 1:48.
That sequence revealed more than aggression. Batbayar processed an unusual position instantly.
His previous tournament fights ended by second-round strikes against Wataru Yamauchi and a first-round rear-naked choke against Agulali. He can turn the initial collision into punches, clinch offense or a submission sequence without needing to reset the fight first.

Lima Finally Knows What Losing Feels Like
Borjas ended Lima’s 11-0 start with a unanimous decision on June 20. The judges scored it 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28.
Lima’s UFC numbers still explain the favorite price. He lands 3.94 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 2.66, owns 59% significant-strike defense and has defended 76% of takedown attempts. His kickboxing background includes an unbeaten 7-0 record and multiple Brazilian and South American titles.
At 5-foot-7, Lima also carries a three-inch height advantage over the 5-foot-4 Batbayar.
The MMA/UFC Betting Hub and UFC Betting Guide become particularly useful around UFC debuts like this one. Batbayar’s 70 recorded significant strikes and three Road to UFC appearances give us evidence, but not yet the depth of UFC sample Lima has accumulated.
Can Lima Make Fifteen Minutes Appear?
Batbayar has finished all 10 professional victories. Lima has already completed three rounds four times in the UFC or Contender Series.
The longer this remains a measured kickboxing fight, the more Lima’s defensive habits, reach management and experience become available.
Batbayar’s opportunity comes before that rhythm settles. His finishing history is distributed across striking and submissions rather than one obvious weapon, and his willingness to attack transitions gives Lima more to process than a conventional pressure striker would.

Fight Prediction
Andre Lima by unanimous decision.
Lima’s size, defensive striking and UFC experience should allow him to survive Batbayar’s early acceleration and stretch the fight into unfamiliar territory for the Mongolian debutant.
Betting Analysis
The technical pick and betting price separate here.
Bookmaker Sportsbook asks -265 for Lima against a 25-year-old opponent riding six consecutive wins who has finished every professional victory.
Batbayar at +218 prices the uncertainty far more attractively than Lima at -265 prices his experience.
Betting Lean
Namsrai Batbayar +218.
The under 2.5 at -160 already charges heavily for Batbayar’s finishing history. Taking the debutant outright captures the same early-fight threat without requiring the finish to arrive before an arbitrary clock.
